Please note that our psychiatry service primarily provides psychiatric opinion & report only (item 291). Following the psychiatrist's comprehensive assessment, a detailed report will be sent back to the GP with a recommended management plan. While our psychiatrist's do not routinely prescribe medication directly to the patient, we will work closely with the GP to in-act this plan.
For Referring GP's please ensure you either state 'opinion and report' or 'item 291' on your referrals to enable you're patient to be eligible for the MBS 291 rebate.
Please note not all psychiatrist accept ADHD/ ASD referrals.
