Mr Brander-Peetz is a registered psychologist who is passionate about providing a secure, respectful, and judgment-free counselling and coaching environment that allows clients to freely share their personal experiences, emotions and thoughts. He has a decade of experience in a variety of counselling, coaching, consulting and research-based roles across commercial, government and not-for-profit sectors.
Mr Brander-Peetz managed the Wellbeing and Counselling Service at James Cook University Brisbane, with a focus on cross-cultural engagement. He has also worked as an Employment Consultant and Team Leader in the sector of mental health and disability employment. In the research world, Mr Brander-Peetz is a PhD candidate in Organisational Psychology at Griffith University. Mr Brander-Peetz’s dissertation investigates employee motivation and retention within the fields of human services and health care.
