Dr Yohanes Ariathianto is a graduate of Monash University Medical School who subsequently undertook advanced physician training in geriatric and internal medicine in Eastern, Monash, Austin and Northern Health. His public appointment is as Consultant Geriatrician and Internal Medicine Physician at Northern Health. He is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Geriatric Medicine (ANZSGM), and is an external expert reviewer for Australian Family Physician (AFP) journal.

His main areas of interests are cognitive and memory assessment, management of dementia and BPSD (behavioral and psychological symptom of dementia), fall and balance assessment, management of complex medical conditions and poly-pharmacy.
