Dr Yu graduated from the University of Melbourne on a full scholarship, and completed advanced Endocrinology training across major centres in South Western Sydney and the Hunter New England region. His work has extended beyond metropolitan settings - Dr Yu has delivered specialist care to underserved rural communities including Moree, Inverell, Boggabilla, and Warialda, where access to expert hormonal care is often limited.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Yu is actively involved in shaping the future of endocrinology in Australia. He is widely published, mentors endocrine trainees, and serves as a research assessor for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. His ongoing work ensures that patients benefit not only from today’s best treatments but from tomorrow’s emerging therapies as well.

Dr Yu currently consults privately across Kotara, Bankstown, North Sydney and Eastwood.

1 Multi-Step Procedure: The assessment is a detailed process with several steps. It might take multiple appointments to fully evaluate your child's condition.

‍2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.

‍3 Collaboration with Others: To make an accurate diagnosis, our paediatricians work with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers involved in your child's care. This collaboration provides a better understanding of your child's unique situation.
