Specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology ,with 14 years' experience in the field, currently working as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Australia for 4 years . Preceding my current position, I had gathered experience in the United Kingdom for five years in Gastroenterology at Aberdeen, as a Clinical Fellow in Hepatology and Liver transplantation at Kings College Hospital, London and as Senior Clinical Fellow, Hepatology at University Hospitals, Plymouth. Prior experience of seven years as a consultant Gastroenterologist at Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. My expertise lies in diagnostic and management approaches in gastroenterology, and I hold conjoint committee accreditation in gastroscopy and colonoscopy. I am actively involved in clinical governance and contribute to teaching and research activities. My career has allowed me to thrive in diverse cultural settings, enriching my perspective and approach to patient care.

1 Multi-Step Procedure: The assessment is a detailed process with several steps. It might take multiple appointments to fully evaluate your child's condition.

‍2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.

‍3 Collaboration with Others: To make an accurate diagnosis, our paediatricians work with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers involved in your child's care. This collaboration provides a better understanding of your child's unique situation.

This is going to make things so much easier for our demographic. We have a lot of low socio-economic patients, so the option to bulk-bill is great. And it will make appointments easier. I recently had to take my child to four review consultations with a pediatrician on the mainland, taking a day off work each time, just to receive test results.
