Detailed introduction

Dr. Ramesh Sahathevan is a consultant neurologist based in Ballarat. He is interested in the acute care of patients with stroke and in the primary and secondary prevention of stroke. He was conferred a PhD by the University of Melbourne in 2013.

He is actively involved in research and continues to be involved in national and international research trials. Ramesh is affiliated with the Global Burden of Disease Network and is an active member of the World Stroke Organization Education Committee and the Lancet Commission on Stroke in low and middle-income countries.
