Dr Matthew Jiang is a consultant rheumatologist at Western Health and also consults in Footscray and Richmond. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and completed his rheumatology training at Royal Hobart Hospital and Western Health. He is interested in the management of all aspects of rheumatic disease, including inflammatory arthritis, non-inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions and autoimmune disease.
His focus is on helping patients understand their disease and treatment, and working collaboratively with other clinicians. Dr Jiang supervises and teaches physician trainees at Western Health and is also involved in medical student teaching through the University of Melbourne Clinical School.
