Dr Sewell is a rheumatologist who completed her training through Victoria's Alfred Health, Monash Medical Centre and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Prior to becoming a doctor, Dr Sewell worked as a physiotherapist. Dr Sewell also has an interest in medical education and is currently studying a Masters in Narrative Medicine through Columbia University which involves the intersection of literature, medicine, and stories of illness.
