Dr Wong is a geriatrician with over a decade of experience in care of the elderly. He specializes in a range of geriatric syndromes including dementia, delirium, falls prevention, polypharmacy, with a special interest in cognitive assessment. His focus is on a personalized and holistic approach to patient care with an emphasis on shared decision-making.He graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide, completed his Masters in Perioperative Medicine through Monash University, Specialist Certificate in Gerontology by the University of Melbourne, Graduate Diploma in Pain Management and subsequently awarded his Fellowship in Geriatrics by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.Dr Wong has practiced in a wide variety of health centers throughout his career including Adelaide, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin, Brisbane and Gold Coast, before finally deciding to return home to Melbourne where he continues to provide top tier service to his patients in the broader community.

1 Multi-Step Procedure: The assessment is a detailed process with several steps. It might take multiple appointments to fully evaluate your child's condition.

‍2 Review of Notes and Results: With consent from the parents/carers, our paediatricians will carefully review various notes and investigation results, like medical records, previous assessments, and relevant tests. This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.

‍3 Collaboration with Others: To make an accurate diagnosis, our paediatricians work with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers involved in your child's care. This collaboration provides a better understanding of your child's unique situation.

This is going to make things so much easier for our demographic. We have a lot of low socio-economic patients, so the option to bulk-bill is great. And it will make appointments easier.
