Dr. Ivan Doti completed his medical studies at the University of Melbourne, earning specialist qualifications in psychiatry with sub-specialty certification in the psychiatry of old age (psycho-geriatrics).

He has extensive experience in all fields of old age psychiatry, having worked across inpatient and outpatient settings, Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) clinics, specialised psychiatric aged care facilities, and providing Consultation services to Dementia Management Units.

He is actively involved in the teaching of medical students, junior doctors as well as supervising psychiatrists completing their sub-specialty training. He keenly takes interest in general psychiatry. He has a special interest in the treatment of mood and psychotic disorders in the elderly.
