Summary
Better nutrition for lasting health
Empower is a free virtual program jointly developed by Telecare and Murrumbidgee PHN. It was piloted in the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network catchment from 6 March 2023, and is designed to improve nutrition for weight loss and long-term disease management.
Participants get live educational sessions and forum discussions, blog posts, healthy tips and tricks, recipes, and subsidised access to mobile health management apps for self-managing weight—led by qualified dietitians, diabetes educators, endocrinologists and medical doctors with lived experience.
