When seeking a pediatrician’s assessment for your child, it is important to recognize that insights from behavioral reports and formal evaluations conducted by allied health professionals can provide valuable context. However, each pediatrician is an independent practitioner who will formulate their diagnosis and treatment plan based on their clinical evaluation, taking into account all relevant information. Please note that the pediatrician’s opinion may differ from diagnoses given by other professionals or those needed for NDIS funding purposes.

I had an appointment with Dr Alexey Sidorov this afternoon. I wanted to write to say thank you. Dr Sidorov was kind and compassionate and I really appreciate being able to use the Telecare service to get treatment. Why can’t I just see the Psychiatrist directly without having to see the Mental Health Clinician first?

How are your Fees so cheap compared to other providers?
Our service is cheaper because it’s been designed to be more efficient, not lower quality. Here’s how it works: Firstly, we do not package the assessment into expensive multi-step programs like some other providers. Instead we focus only on what’s clinically necessary for a diagnosis and treatment. Also, instead of having the psychiatrist handle everything (which often means additional sessions and higher fees), we get you to see a Mental Health Clinician first. They gather all the relevant background — medical history, symptom profile, family history, etc — so that when you then get to see the psychiatrist, they already have a full picture. This allows the psychiatrist to focus strictly on the diagnosis and treatment plan, all within a single Medicare-billed session. That makes it: ✔️ Faster ✔️ Clinically sound ✔️ More affordable The psychiatrist still makes the final diagnosis and provides a formal report. We’ve just made the process more streamlined — and that keeps the cost down for you.
