Summary

What is Telecare's Virtual Paediatrics Clinic?

Telecare is excited to partner with Armajun Aboriginal Health Services to bring the Virtual Paediatrics Clinic to their three surgery sites: Armidale Surgery, Glen Innes Surgery, and Inverell Surgery. This innovative model is designed to enhance access to specialized behavioral and developmental paediatrics care for children in these communities.

What to Expect

Families can expect the same high-quality care through our Virtual Paediatrics Clinic as they would receive in person. Our telehealth platform allows for comprehensive assessments and follow-up care, facilitated by our expert paediatrics team.

Once a referral and booking request is made, a virtual consultation will be scheduled with one of our specialist paediatricians. These consultations are conducted via our secure telehealth portal, ensuring privacy and convenience. Local healthcare providers will support these virtual consultations, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.

Benefits of the Virtual Paediatrics Clinic

  • Timeliness: Virtual consultations can be scheduled more flexibly, reducing waiting times.
  • Holistic Care: The program integrates local healthcare providers with specialist support, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each child’s health and development.

Through the Virtual Paediatrics Clinic, Telecare aims to deliver timely, high-quality care to children, supporting their behavioral and developmental needs effectively and efficiently
