Dr Shareen Jaijee is an experienced general cardiologist, with specialist training in heart failure and cardiac imaging. She trained at the Royal Prince Alfred in Sydney, and had further training and experience at Imperial College NHS Trust in London and the National Heart Centre in Singapore. Dr Jaijee has a special interest in cardiac imaging, and has advanced specialist training in cardiac MRI, cardiac CT and echocardiography. She completed her doctorate at the University of Sydney/Imperial College London, studying cardiac MRI and its assessment of the heart at rest and during exercise, particularly in those with heart failure due to pulmonary hypertension. She is board certified with the Australian and International Society of Lifestyle Medicine, and has an interest in the application of exercise, nutrition, adequate sleep and positive psychology in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. Dr Jaijee also has a Masters in Medical Leadership, with her thesis focusing on equality and diversity. Dr Jaijee provide services in all aspects of cardiology, including heart failure, cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, preventive cardiology and general cardiology.

This helps them understand your child's medical, developmental, and behavioural history. If you have any reports that may be relevant, please send them through before the appointment.
